Short, because there is not much. We use one cookie to keep signed-in users signed in, and nothing at all on the pages your customers see.
1. What we set
| Cookie | Where | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Owner dashboard, admin console, counter scanner | Keeps you signed in. Strictly necessary — the dashboard cannot work without it | 30 days, or until you sign out |
| Pairing state | Counter scanner only | Remembers that this phone was paired to a shop, so staff only type a PIN | Until the device is unpaired |
Both are strictly necessary, which is why there is no consent banner. There is nothing optional to consent to.
2. What we do not set
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No third-party analytics on the pages your customers see.
- No social media pixels, no chat widgets that phone home.
- Nothing at all on the join page (
/join/…) or the card management page — those load, take a name and a number, and issue a pass.
3. Controlling them
Your browser can block or clear cookies at any time. Blocking the session cookie means the dashboard cannot keep you signed in, but nothing your customers touch is affected.
What personal data sits behind the session is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. If this changes
If we ever add analytics or anything non-essential, this page changes on the same day and a consent choice appears before the cookie is set — not after.
